Iron is contained in hemoglobin, myoglobin and involved in several oxidation-reduction reactions: it plays an important role in hematopoiesis. Ferric sulfate provides the body with oxygen and removes carbon dioxide from it. Ferric sulfate is the best form for absorption of iron from the intestine to 100%. Ferrous iron is absorbed 20 times more. Serine ensures that the iron from foods rich in proteins and amino acids is absorbed 20 times more. Folic acid is involved in the synthesis of amino acids and nucleic acids, stimulates erythropoiesis, accelerates the absorption of iron, promotes lactation. Folic acid is essential in the treatment of pregnancy, especially the 3rd trimester for the healthy development of the fetus. Vitamin B12 is necessary for normal hematopoiesis.
