Propionic acid derivatives. Ketoprofen.

Pharmachologic effect:
– analgesic
– anti-inflammatory
– antipyretic
– antiplatelet
Indications for use: - inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal musculoskeletal system: rheumatoid, psoriatic, juvenile chronic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease), gouty arthritis, rheumatic soft tissue disease, osteoarthritis peripheral joints and spine (including with radicular syndrome);
- lumbago, sciatica;
- neuralgia;
- migraine;
- algodismenorrhea;
- inflammatory processes of the pelvic organs,
incl. adnexitis;
- post-traumatic pain syndrome, accompanied by
inflammation;
- postoperative pain;
- toothache;
- pain syndrome in cancer.
Contraindications:
- erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract (in the acute phase);
- bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, inflammatory diseases
intestines in the acute phase (nonspecific ulcerative
colitis, Crohn's disease);
- severe renal failure (creatinine clearance <30 ml/min);
- progressive kidney diseases; hyperkalemia;
- complete or incomplete combination of bronchial asthma,
recurrent polyposis of the nose and paranasal sinuses and
intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid or other
NSAIDs (including in history);
- impaired hematopoiesis, impaired hemostasis
(including hemophilia);
- III trimester of pregnancy and lactation period;
- children under 15 years of age; period after
coronary artery bypass grafting;
- hypersensitivity (including to other NSAIDs or
auxiliary components).
Dosage regimen
Intramuscular administration:
100 mg (1 ampoule) 1-2 times a day.
Injections should be done deep intramuscularly.
The maximum daily dose should not exceed
200 mg Flamax.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor, not
It is recommended to continue treatment with the injection form
Flamax for more than 3 days.
